HR Assistant Confidential Memphis, TN 38118 Job Description Reports to:

HR Manger Job Purpose :

To work within the HR team, supporting with areas of responsibility for administration in recruitment, employee relations and change management as directed by HR Manager To provide flexibility to ensure the HR department to cope with peak workloads throughout the year Willingness to travel overnight

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm Extended time may be necessary from time to time, and travel up to 50% of the time.

Areas of Responsibility:

Provide a range of administrative support functions to the HR Manager, for example prepare offer letters, accommodation letters, exit interviews. Provide day to day advice to Managers and Employees in general HR related queries, requests and Policies and Procedures, escalating more complex issues to the HR Manager. To support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating recruitment, processes and relevant documents. Maintain accurate filing systems for all records generated in the HR department. Drafting and placing support job advertisements for recruitment, sourcing job descriptions and coordinating with shortlisting and interviews. Following shortlisting, invite successful candidates to interview and notify those not shortlisted. Conduct background checks, schedule drug test and MVR’s. Alongside others in the team, ensure the HR Database (Paycom)accurately reflects current staff conditions and details. This includes contractual amendments, change of detail, annual leave and recording of sickness and other leave. To undertake delegated tasks and projects as required. Any other reasonable duties as directed by the HR Manager or Vice President.

Qualifications and Experience:

Advanced skills in Office, Word, Excel and Outlook A working knowledge of computerized HR systems Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and juggle an busy workload Pro-active and able to assimilate new information quickly. Highly diplomatic and discrete with the ability to handle highly sensitive matters Professional and confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to form effective relationships with people at all levels and to communicate well over the telephone, face to face and in writing. Honest and Trustworthy Must have 3 years experience in
