Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Cordova, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting HR functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering positive employee relations. Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, such as scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications.
- Help administer employee benefits programs, ensuring timely updates and accurate information.
- Prepare HR-related documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with other departments to address workforce needs and enhance organizational processes.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Provide administrative support for training sessions and employee development programs.
- Respond to inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects to improve HR systems and practices. Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR assistant or related role.
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and employee relations practices.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
