The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates a variety of daily Human Resources administrative transactions and functions such as: maintaining all HR-related record keeping, assisting with recruitment-related activities and onboarding processes, benefits administration and assisting employees with benefit-related questions, serving as a point of contact to employees for frontline HR issues and questions, assisting with the administration of all HR related programs and committees, and promoting positive employee relations.

Skills:
HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, HRCI or equivalent) Minimum of 3 years multi-functional Human Resources experience; experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment preferred. Must exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Ability to use general office equipment including computer keyboard by touch, time machines, voice mail system, copy machines, and printers. Must be able to interact cordially, productively, and communicate effectively with employees from all departments and at all levels within the organization. Must possess effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people and/or situations. Must display a positive and cooperative attitude. Must maintain a professional and polished demeanor and appearance. Must maintain positive and good working relationships with all external business partners, customers, and third-party vendors. Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and to work under pressure and to prioritize. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Must be able to proficiently read, write and communicate clearly in English; bi-lingual in Spanish. Must be able to make logical, cost-effective decisions under the guidance of senior management. Must be able to travel locally on a regular basis and must possess a valid US driver’s license. PHR or other professional HR certification preferred.
