Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Heber Springs, AR. This position supports a dynamic manufacturing environment and plays a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of HR experience and a strong background in 401(k) administration, benefits administration, and workers’ compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.
Serve as a point of contact for 401(k) plan administration, including enrollments, changes, and compliance reporting.
Oversee workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting, follow-up, and coordination with insurance providers.
Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including performance management and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
Proven experience with 401(k) and benefits administration.
Knowledge of workers’ compensation processes and regulations.
Strong understanding of HR best practices and policies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
