Human Resources Generalist Role:

7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday May require an adjustment of schedule to accommodate departmental need. This position is based within Jefferson Regional In this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected.

Job Summary:

Under the general directions of the organization, the Human Resources Generalist will reside in and support the services of the Human Resources (HR) Department. The Generalist is responsible for performing HR related activities such as day-to-day transactions, and supporting all the areas in the Human Resources office. Serves as the first point of contact to the public, employees, applicants and all needing assistance in HR Office. The Human Resource Generalist manages the Leave Management Program and serves as the Worker’s Compensation Administrator.

Human Resources Generalist Role Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree:

Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, or CP) preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience in Human Resources . Ability to work under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Strong problem solving skills. Proficiency with MS Office. Strong knowledge of employment regulation and HR best practices. Strong knowledge of employment leave law. 1-year experience in Human Resources preferred. Experience with

ADP HRMS/HRIS
