Responsibilities Employee Onboarding:
Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Benefits Administration:
Assist with employee benefits programs, including processing documentation and conducting open enrollment.
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries, coordinate HR projects, and support a positive work environment.
HRIS Management:
Utilize UKG Pro software for managing payroll, benefits, and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience as an HR Generalist or similar role. Experience with the knowledge of and ability to comply with all relevant regulations and standards set by the Connecticut Dept. of Children and Families (DCF), and the ability to adapt to similar requirements in other states, as applicable, is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Experience Required 2 year(s): HR Generalist or similar role Education Required High School or better Preferred Bachelors or better
