POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure new providers including those for Health First Medical Group (HFMG), Medical Services Organization (MSO), Medical Staff, Independent Contractors, Staffing Agency, and Facility Coverage, successfully begin practice on agreed upon start date. Serve as a point of contact for the new providers with a focus on an exceptional provider experience and manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through contract end. Lead the process to ensure all key departments can complete appropriate tasks to ensure all deadlines are met. Establish and maintain provider relationships and engagement, to ensure long-term retention with the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN).
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Implement, optimize, and manage the onboarding process through clear task prioritization, organized work activities, efficient use of time management, to ensure successful start of new providers. 2. Collaborate with various departments across the IDN, including but not limited to, HFMG Operations, Hospital/ Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Operations, Medical Staff Services, Payer Credentialing, Marketing, and Business Development, to ensure continuity in the onboarding experience. 3. Maintain the onboarding & retention Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applicationfor all new physicians and advanced practice providers by tracking progress through start date, providing regular status updates to process owners and business stakeholders in the IDN. 4. Manage and track provider relocation to meet appropriate compliance and regulatory standards. Initiate new provider network and application access request to Information Technology (IT) and monitor for completion to ensure system access is complete prior to start date. Likewise, maintain provider roster for all Staffing Agency and Facility Call Coverage providers, to ensure timely network access deactivation, to mitigate potential risk. 5. Provide current and ongoing updates to the payor enrollment department to ensure accurate provider status is efficiency reflected for all payors for Staffing Agency and Facility Call Coverage providers. 6. Demonstrate initiative in relationship building, influencing, conflict management, and problem resolution to facilitate successful completion of onboarding & retention tasks prior to provider start date. 7. Partner with Business Development to ensure providers move seamlessly into their new practice. 8. Collaborate with team, developing the provider schedule for the first weeks following their start to ensure they are properly orientated with the organization. 9. Assist in ensuring provider retention goals are met by coordinating the post on-boarding provider touch-base sessions, ensuring completion and timely follow up. 10.Coordinate provider recognition and social events to support provider long-term retention goals.
