Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR processes and employee relations, with a strong focus on compliance and benefits administration. You will work closely with leadership to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions while creating a supportive and efficient workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring all updates for new hires, terminations, and changes are properly documented.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Oversee employee time off tracking
- Administer employee benefits programs, including tracking missed deductions and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Prepare and submit union remittance reports
- Coordinate hiring efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation, while maintaining updated forms and job descriptions.
- Train remote office staff in completing hiring paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain OSHA records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements across all work locations.
- Continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to address employee concerns and collaborate with leadership.
- Proficiency in HR systems and software for record-keeping and reporting.
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
