Description The HR Generalist II is responsible for supporting essential HR functions, fostering an inclusive and compliant work environment, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. This role demands strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities and Duties Act as the primary backup for the recruitment process, assisting in meeting hiring needs. Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Communicate and enforce HR policies, contributing to updates as needed. Provide counseling and mediation support to employees to resolve workplace concerns. Support managers with performance management and documentation. Administer personnel changes in HR systems. Stay updated on legal changes, ensuring compliance with employment laws. Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of HR experience with demonstrated growth. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Paycom is preferred. Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.
