HR System Coordinator 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 2634 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee, FL 32308 The HR System Coordinator is a professional position in charge of managing and maintaining the Human Resources System, a blend of software and processes used to keep track of employee information and HR-related data. Key responsibilities include ensuring data input and accuracy, generating reports, assisting HR staff with system-related inquiries, and implementing updates or new features in the HR System. This position will help streamline HR operations, promote data-driven decision making and support the HR Department with overall organizational goals. This position will also provide additional HR duties.
ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and manage the HR system to ensure data input and accuracy. Collaborate with IT department for system optimization. Enter all employee and position information in the HR System. Manage HRIS time and attendance program processes for Human Resources. Forward all approved documentation to accounting for verification prior to payroll deadlines. Generate and analyze reports to provide insights for HR decisions. Implement updates and new features in the HR system. Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation. Train HR and Training team members on HRIS functionalities and best practices. Assist HR and Training staff with system-related questions and troubleshooting. Create and update position descriptions in coordination with supervisors, directors, and management team members for all positions of the Center. When new positions are created a position description must be received from the direct supervisor of the position. An annual- review of each position description must be coordinated with the direct supervisor and updated as needed. Manage and complete the Center-wide performance review distribution and collection process within the HR system. Train supervisors, directors, and management team members on completing and processing employee performance reviews as well as other processes in the HR System.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in human resources management, information technology, business administration, or a related field. One – Two years of experience in HRIS Software/Data Management and in Human Resources required. Proficient in Word/WordPerfect and Excel preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
Professional certification in human resources preferred. Must possess current, valid driver’s license and maintain Apalachee Designated Auto Driver status.
