AtWork Personnel is hiring a driven, people-focused Recruiter & HR Generalist to join our on-site team in Tallahassee, Florida . This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and is eager to grow a career in both recruiting and human resources. Comprehensive training will be provided , but a high level of comfort with technology and multitasking across systems is absolutely essential.

Location & Schedule:

In-Person | Tallahassee, Florida Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00

PM Compensation:

Base Salary:

$40,000

Bonus Structure:

$15,000•30,000+ annually (based on recruiting, client success, and performance)

Direct Hire Commissions:

Additional monthly bonus potential for successful Direct Hire placements

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Manage and actively recruit through Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, and internal tools Schedule and conduct multiple in-person and virtual interviews daily Facilitate skills testing, screening, and candidate evaluations Customer Job Order Management Manage all incoming customer job orders from start to finish Evaluate customer needs and job specifications to create accurate and engaging job posts Screen and interview applicants based on job requirements Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients Communicate with clients to confirm hiring decisions and arrange start dates for selected candidates Onboarding, Training & Employee Evaluations Oversee onboarding and orientation for all new hires Deliver client-specific and general workplace training Conduct employee evaluations and maintain performance feedback Payroll & HR Administration Process accurate weekly payroll for 30+ employees Manage HR responsibilities including attendance, coaching, terminations, and conflict resolution Serve as a point of contact for all employee and client HR-related inquiries Client Communication & Business Development Maintain weekly communication with multiple clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns Take a sales-focused approach to candidate and client conversations Identify and pursue new opportunities for Direct Hire business Direct Hire Placements & Commissions Identify and develop relationships with potential Direct Hire clients Place qualified candidates in long-term Direct Hire roles Earn monthly commissions for successful placements

Technology Requirements:

Daily use of: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Internal ATS and HR software Social media platforms and job boards AI-driven recruiting tools and online databases Strong computer skills and ease with navigating multiple platforms are required.
