Job Description
Human Resources Generalist Dogs Inc 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, FL 34221 The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for handling personnel matters, ensuring company protocol and standards are adhered to, supporting business operations, and overseeing aspects of payroll, employee life cycle, and recruitment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all candidate background checks ensuring that the process is being managed – following up with candidates. Ensure company has state income tax, workers compensation coverage, and reemployment insurance set up for employees working outside of Florida. Assist with administration of employee benefits such as medical/dental/vision/supplemental insurance, 403b. Lead the administration of employee programs such as Raise and Relax, Employee Milestone Anniversaries, Holiday events and recognition initiatives. Contribute to bi-weekly payroll calculation, processing, and submission by reviewing timecards and answering managers’ questions in a timely manner. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks such as employee inquiries throughout the day and work independently with minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and periodically audit Forms I-9 Administer labor law poster compliance program. Assist with annual retirement plan audit. Educate employees regarding company benefits. Accurately enter candidates’ personal information and relevant data in Paycom prior to the candidates onboarding. Scan and upload hard copies of documents and file them in the appropriate electronic file location. Prepare routine reports from Paycom as needed. Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Human Resources Director Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience Minimum 3-5 years of HR work experience required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Accuracy and timeliness in all transactional activities Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; HRIS Excellent customer services skills and attention to details Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature Why Join Dogs Inc?
