Talent Logistics Specialist First Watch Restaurants, Inc. 8725 Pendery Place, Bradenton, FL 34201

Overview:

The Talent Logistics Specialist is responsible for creating memorable experiences and coordinating the logistics of talent events to include: attendee travel and scheduling, community partnerships, onsite meeting preparation, and related responsibilities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that an organization’s talent-related programs run smoothly and effectively and supports the growth and development of our field leaders. This individual plays a critical role in creating memorable experience for First Watch team members and leaders.

Responsibilities:

Talent Logistics:

Identify suitable training venues, whether in-house or external, and managing logistics for on-site and off-site training. Ensure that all necessary equipment, materials, and resources are available for training sessions. Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for participants, if required. Organize catering services for talent department events, including meals and refreshments. Support key talent initiatives centered around employee recognition and promotions

Feedback and Improvement:

Gather feedback from participants and presenters to assess the quality of talent programs. Use feedback and data to make improvements to the logistics and scheduling processes.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of activities, participant attendance, feedback, itineraries, feedback, expenses etc. Generate reports on the effectiveness and efficiency of talent initiatives for management and stakeholders.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Develop and maintain a calendar to schedule talent-related sessions, workshops, and courses. Manage participant registration and enrollment processes for talent development programs. Coordinate with attendees and subject matter experts to align schedules and availability. Address scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth operations.

Onsite Meeting Preparation:

Ensure training rooms are set up with the necessary equipment and materials, such as projectors, whiteboards, training materials, and technology. Provide technical support to presenters and participants during training sessions. Ensure the training venue is accessible to all participants, including those with special needs.

Community Partnerships:

Identify and establish partnerships with external organizations and/or community groups to enhance talent development programs. Coordinate joint initiatives or events with partner organizations to expand resources and expertise.

Budget Management:

Manage the budget allocated and expense reports for talent-related logistics and partnerships. Find cost-effective solutions for logistics, scheduling, and venue arrangements.

Learning Technology and Tools:

Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technology platforms to manage content, track progress, and evaluate effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent development, incorporating innovative approaches into programs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. College-level degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in project management, talent development, or related roles, preferably in the restaurant industry or a similar environment.
