The HR Specialist serves as one of the first contacts in HumanResources for crewmembers to provide resource information andsupport as needed in the areas of , crewwelfare,fitness,recreational activities and training. Maintains an awareness of theshipboard employee morale and gathers information to makerecommendations to maintain a positive environment.

Career snapshot:

• Assist the HRM in administering, maintaining and updatingPipeline Job Postings. Have regular updating and informationsharing meetings with HR Manager
• Provides daily administrative support to the Human ResourcesManager i.e., EXCOM meeting minutes, and other Crew Administrativeduties as assigned
• Updates the Human Resources notice boards in conjunction with theHuman Resources Manager and Crew Administrator
• Plan and execute activities for the crew: recreational activitiesfor crew, including external excursions, on board discountpurchase, evening activities, and monthly crew parties
• Responsible for and monitors all private crew function requestsin designated areas
• Acts as Chairperson of the Crew Welfare Committee and is a memberof the Food Committee
• In collaboration with Security Officer, Environmental Officer andChief Officer/Safety, lead the development of a monthly trainingschedule and communicate accurately to all shipboardemployees
