We are seeking an organized, detailed-oriented individual with a strong background in Human Resources, Payroll processing and Benefits Administration. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing & benefits administration. Ideal candidate will be a people person, team player and have ability multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Human Resources & Benefits Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:

Responds to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures. Handles employee complaints and escalates to the attention of management as needed.

Recruitment:

Handles posting of job openings & sends out weekly email blasts. Schedules & attends job fairs and maintains accurate records for annual reporting as required for FCC/EEO annual reporting.

Onboarding:

Conducts new hire onboarding & orientation processes.

Benefits Administration:

Handles administration & coordination of company benefits including Annual Open Enrollment for medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, etc. oProcess employee Insurance enrollments, terminations & COBRA notices oProcess Monthly Insurance payments oFile Worker’s Comp Claims & coordinate with insurance carrier, employee and supervisors as needed. oCoordinate FMLA Leaves oMaintain Accurate Time off Logs (Sick, Vacation) ??

Payroll Responsibilities:
Biweekly Payroll Processing:

Assists with all tasks related to bi-weekly payroll process including accurate employee data entry in ADP’s Workforce Now payroll software.

Payroll Calculations:

Audit timesheets, Calculate wages, deductions.

Other Responsibilities:

Maintain employee & department files. Assists with general office functions & tasks as needed.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

Strong background in Human Resources, Employment Law, Benefits Administration & Payroll processing. Proficiency in Math for accurate calculations, data manipulation Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work overtime as needed, especially during Open Enrollment & Year End MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency – intermediate ADP Workforce Now & Payroll software experience is a plus. HR degree or related field preferred
