Contract Are you a bilingual HR professional with a strong track record in resolving complex workplace matters and championing fair, compliant employee practices? We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our growing hospitality and restaurant network. This on-site role is pivotal in managing sensitive employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations, supporting compliance efforts, and fostering a respectful and legally sound workplace culture across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Workplace Investigations Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy-related questions across multiple restaurant and hospitality locations. Conduct objective, well-documented, and timely investigations into workplace complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct. Advise managers on disciplinary procedures, corrective action plans, and consistent application of company policies. Recommend and support remedial action plans that ensure resolution while maintaining compliance and fairness. Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, improve communication, and reinforce a culture of trust and accountability. Compliance & HR Operations Ensure adherence to Florida labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant personnel records through HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or UKG. Support audits and internal investigations related to employment practices. Participate in HR policy updates and rollouts to ensure clarity and accessibility to employees and managers. Leave Management & Accommodations Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, and return-to-work coordination. Maintain accurate tracking and provide timely updates to HR leadership and operations teams. Support employee accommodations and ensure alignment with legal requirements and internal practices. HR Metrics & Support Track and report key employee relations metrics (e.g., case volume, resolution times, leave trends, disciplinary action types). Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to support issue resolution as it relates to employee relations matters. Contribute to continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications Required:

5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and workplace investigations in hospitality, restaurant, or service-focused environments. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken). In-depth knowledge of Florida employment laws and hospitality labor regulations. Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, or UKG. Proven experience managing leave processes and employee accommodations. Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.

Preferred:

HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP). Experience supporting both field and corporate restaurant/hospitality operations.
