The People Analytics Specialist will be a key contributor in advancing company’s HR analytics capabilities. This role is responsible for transforming people data into strategic insights to help shape workforce decisions, elevate employee experience, and support enterprise goals. You’ll partner across Talent, HR, and business leadership to design and deliver dashboards, conduct workforce analytics, and build a data-informed culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about both data and people – someone who combines technical analytics expertise with a consultative mindset and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Insights:
Analyze workforce data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights around talent acquisition, retention, diversity, performance, and engagement. Develop and maintain people dashboards and scorecards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Deliver predictive models to inform workforce planning, turnover risk, and succession readiness.
Reporting & Visualization:
Design, build, and automate recurring and ad-hoc reports for HR and business leaders. Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and executive summaries. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and clarity across reports.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with HRBPs, Talent Management, and DEI teams to define metrics and design custom analytics solutions. Support executive decision-making by presenting data narratives in high-level meetings. Act as a trusted advisor on how data can solve workforce challenges and uncover opportunities.
Systems & Governance:
Extract, join, and manipulate data from HRIS (e.g., Workday), ATS (e.g., Greenhouse), and other internal systems. Ensure compliance with data governance, confidentiality standards, and legal regulations (e.g., EEO, GDPR). Collaborate with IT and Data Governance teams to improve data accessibility and structure.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate existing processes and recommend automation or streamlining opportunities. Support the design and analysis of employee surveys (e.g., engagement, onboarding, exit). Stay current on trends in people analytics, technology, and the future of work practices.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in People Analytics, HR Reporting, or Data Analytics, preferably in the financial services or highly regulated industry. Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Advanced Excel and SQL skills; experience with R or Python is a strong plus. Hands-on experience working with data from HRIS (Workday preferred), payroll, ATS, or LMS platforms.
Preferred:
Experience supporting DEI initiatives through data analytics. Knowledge of employee lifecycle metrics and best practices. Familiarity with compliance reporting (e.g., EEO-1, AAP) and HR data privacy regulations. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
