$51.7K – $65.4K a year 15 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Job purpose The Human Resources Generalist is a crucial role in ensuring that we attract and retain top talent to drive our company’s growth and success. This role will have a variety of responsibilities from sourcing, onboarding, new hire training, and compliance while constantly focusing on employee retention. Duties and responsibilities Create, revise, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all company roles. Collaborate with hiring managers on the requirements of their staffing needs including forecasting future needs to develop a talent pipeline. Post engaging job postings through the HRIS which will post to various job boards including social media platforms and the company website. Additionally, professional society job boards may be utilized depending upon the role. Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct phone interviews with candidates that appear to have the required knowledge and skills to determine if the candidates should be considered further Conduct phone interviews to screen qualified candidates and assess their fit for the role and company culture. Schedule additional rounds of interviews with hiring managers and coordinate all logistics involved. Extend offers of employment to selected candidates who have been thoroughly interviewed and considered. Handle the background check and all the other items that must be completed to establish a new hire prior to the first day of employment. Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a positive experience from their first interaction with the company when the candidate’s resume is submitted for consideration. Conduct new employee training sessions, covering company policies, procedures, culture, and systems ensuring that each new employee will be successful upon transition to the new employee’s department. Proactively identify when new and/or additional onboarding training is needed, develop the training, and deliver the training. Partner with the Training and Quality Assurance Manager to assess the results of the new or additional training for effectiveness. Maintain accurate and organized candidate and employee records and reports including complying with any regulatory required federal, state, or local legislation and/or any required filings. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements for human resources. Partner with the Training and Quality Assurance Manager on any additional training needs of new hires as the new hires are transitioned into their roles. Ensure new hires receive and complete all required initial training launched from LMS. Periodically create and distribute anonymous employee engagement surveys. Analyze the results and provide the data to the Director of Human Resources and the leadership team for review.
