Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and aligned with the company’s culture and goals from day one.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through the first 365 days. Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period. Prepare and distribute onboarding materials including welcome packets, employee handbooks, equipment, and access credentials. Collaborate with hiring managers, IT, facilities, and payroll to ensure readiness for each new hire’s start date. Conduct orientation sessions, presentations, and follow-up check-ins to facilitate smooth integration. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., tax forms, I-9 verification). Continuously improve onboarding programs based on feedback and best practices. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HRIS systems. Track onboarding metrics and generate regular reports on onboarding effectiveness and employee feedback.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or employee onboarding. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack). Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for providing excellent employee experiences.
Preferred Skills :
Experience in remote or hybrid onboarding environments. Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus. Why Should You Apply?
