LEAVE OF ABSENCE COORDINATOR
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm In Office $20/hour
Contract Length:
Estimated 2 weeks with possibility to extend You are: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred. Bilingual – fluent in Spanish. 2+ years of HR experience, with 2+ years managing leave claims. Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems quickly. Excellent communication and organizational skills. What you will do?
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate and administer all absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, and STD. Serve as the primary contact for employees and HR regarding leave processes. Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies. Maintain accurate documentation and track leave status in partnership with HR and Payroll. Collaborate with third-party vendors and manage claims end-to-end. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations. Support return-to-work processes and training on leave policies.
