The HR Coordinator is responsible for positively shaping employee experience, maintaining accurate records, and executing programs, events, and other duties as assigned.
Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities Greet visitors; respond to inquiries courteously and promptly, escalating as appropriate, to provide quality customer service. Conduct employee onboarding and orientation, providing new hires a warm and engaging introduction to university culture. Facilitate and process various HR transactions ensuring records are maintained and secured in accordance with university policies and procedures. Coordinate programs, training, meetings, and events including facilities, catering, etc. Generate standard reports and audit records to support tracking key HR metrics, compliance requirements, and employee data. Oversee and mentor student employees. Maintain professional appearance of the Employee Services office. Provide administrative support, contribute to team effort by executing special projects, and complete other duties as assigned. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities High attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to problem-solve and work independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all employee related matters. Proficiency with MS Office and other computer systems. Minimum qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Bachelor’s preferred). One year of HR experience preferred.
