Behavioral Health Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the behavioral health industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare human resources and a passion for supporting employees in a mission-driven environment. This role will support a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and programs. Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with hiring managers. Support employee relations efforts by assisting with conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and investigations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system. Support performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and development plans. Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives. Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure HR practices align with the specific needs of the behavioral health environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in the healthcare industry is preferred Experience in the behavioral health sector is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
