Full Job Description Location:

Initially onsite for the first 4 months, transitioning to a hybrid model with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.

Purpose:

The Tier 1 HR Advisor is a pivotal role within the HR department, tasked with addressing employee and manager inquiries related to Hire to Retire processes and HR policies. This role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service through various communication channels including calls, chats, and texts. The HR Advisor will ensure timely and accurate solutions, adhering to HR Operations standards, and maintaining operational performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage high-volume transactional processing in Workday and other HR-related systems as necessary. Handle a high volume of incoming calls, chats, and texts efficiently in a call center environment. Adhere to established HR Operations Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries from employees and managers using a knowledgebase and desktop tools. Offer guidance on Workday, Kronos, and other HR systems as required. Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 Service Center Specialists or the HR Service Center Manager when needed. Maintain detailed, complete, and accurate interaction records in the Case Management System. Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Deliver excellent, efficient, and courteous service to all callers. Identify trends in escalations and opportunities for process improvement. Participate in the improvement of communications, operations efficiency, and implementation of changes. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.

Education & Certification:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred. IHRIM and/or SHRM certification is advantageous.

Experience & Skills:

1 – 2 years of experience in HR, HR Operations, or a Call Center environment preferred. Familiarity with Workday or other HR systems desirable. Knowledge of case management systems and HR Portal technology helpful. Strong organizational and time management capabilities. Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Six Sigma Certification is a plus. Bilingual proficiency (Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, German, or Hungarian) required.
