As a Human Resources Generalist you will play a critical role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our employees at Wells Pharmacy Network and sister companies. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of HR, including unemployment claims, Workers Compensation, Benefits administration, and payroll processing. This is a fast-paced environment and this position requires a high level of commitment and flexibility, including the ability to work extended hours when needed
Key Responsibilities:
Unemployment Claims Management:
Handle all aspects of unemployment claims, including documentation, communication with relevant agencies, and representing the company in hearings/appeals.
Workers Compensation:
Administer Workers Compensation programs, ensuring timely reporting, claims management, and coordination with insurance providers.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Assist employees with inquiries and enrollment.
Payroll Processing:
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Address employee payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
HR Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance, and timekeeping.
Employee Relations:
Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Recruitment Support:
Collaborate with the HR team on the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and participating in interviews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources-Required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or SHRM certification- Required.
- 5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist with specific expertise in Employee Relations ,Benefits, and Payroll- Required
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and ATS software implementation and use.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to complete tasks and projects.
