ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Recruitment and Onboarding Collaborate with HQ& hiring managers to identify staffing needs and developrecruitment strategies. Source, screen, and interview candidatesfor various positions within the plant. Facilitate the onboardingprocess for new employees, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for employeeinquiries and concerns. Collaborate with HQ on all employeerelations issues. Investigate and resolve employee relations issuesin a timely and effective manner. Promote a positive workenvironment through employee engagement initiatives and activities.

Performance Management Assist HQ with administering performancemanagement processes, including goal setting, performanceevaluations, and feedback sessions. Provide guidance and support tomanagers and employees on performance-related matters. Training andDevelopment Identify training needs within the plant andcollaborate with HQ on training programs to address those needs.

Coordinate training sessions/workshops with the Learning &Development team for employees at all levels. Compliance Ensurecompliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws andregulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records,including completion of I9, personnel files and HRIS data. Workers’Compensation Collaborate with HQ regarding the workers’compensation claims process, including filing claims, coordinatingwith insurance providers, and facilitating employee return-to-workprograms. Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, ensuringcompliance with safety regulations and company policies. Workclosely with injured employees, medical providers, and insuranceadjusters to facilitate appropriate medical treatment andrehabilitation. Benefits Administration Assist employees withquestions regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, and coverage.

Administer benefits programs, including health insurance,retirement plans, and leave policies. Performing insurancereconciliations duties. HR Administration Manage various HRprocesses and procedures, such as employee referrals, transfers,and terminations. Work with HQ on payroll-related inquiries fromemployees and managers, resolving issues promptly. Overseetimekeeper functions and probing process, including the dailyuploading of the probes to complete payroll from the previousday(s). Prepare and distribute HR-related communications anddocuments, including but not limited to safety preparation, firedrills, etc. Collaborate with HQ to coordinate Employee EngagementEvents. Manage the ordering of office/breakroom supplies and allother related administrative tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, orrelated field. 3 years of experience in human resources roles,preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment. Bilingual inSpanish/Haitian-Creole preferred. Strong understanding ofemployment laws and regulations. Experience in full-cyclerecruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewingcandidates. Prior experience in payroll administration, includingprocessing payroll, reviewing timesheets, and addressing payrollinquiries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information withdiscretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRISsystems. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, but not required.
