Do you have a strong interest in identifying and engaging highly sought-after candidates to help them launch their careers? As a Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES) on the Early Careers Recruiting team, key deliverables include building talent pipelines and representing our employer brand values with target student populations by executing robust candidate identification processes, facilitating educational series, and supporting early identification programs. CESs are responsible for owning a number of core schools that are critical to hiring goals based on business unit and geographic career opportunities. This role will play an integral part in advancing candidate attraction strategies and the execution of a positive candidate journey. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design talent sourcing strategies to attract ideal candidates based on business needs. Execute early-career campus recruiting activities to identify student populations and build hiring pipelines. Own core school strategies and accountability for activities on campus, including event execution, relationships with faculty/staff, and leading business volunteers. Responsible for the education of business and student volunteers on how to engage with students who meet our desired candidate profiles. Identify qualified university students to pipeline for early-identification, intern, and entry-level positions, as well as build and maintain the firm’s brand and image on university campuses. Cultivate positive relationships with students throughout the entire candidate journey. Track and measure the effectiveness of recruiting activities for data-driven decisions. Able to leverage and navigate recruiting tools and platforms to support recruiting processes (Yello, Handshake, ATS) Owns and supports the development of recruiting resources and materials critical for the success of school team volunteers and campus ambassadors. Support central programs and activities, including in-person and virtual office visits, development programs, summer internships, and departmental and divisional initiatives. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with target candidates and business partners, including all levels of employees/partners, vendors, university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members, and department heads. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and firm compliance requirements throughout the recruiting process. Has a focus on continuous improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge of Corporate recruiting, particularly at the university level, and how to attract and engage today’s college student. Employment law and hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants, open positions, and metrics. Firm-wide orientation and business unit orientation programs. Firm recruiting policy, procedures, and databases. Legal requirements and federal and state regulations related to employment. EEOC and OFCCP regulations. Uniform Guidelines and EEO. Interviewing practices and techniques. Principles, practices, and procedures of human resources administration associated with employment, compensation, and classification. Needs assessment concepts and processes. Facilitation and presentation methods and techniques. MS Office applications, experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g, Taleo, Workday, etc.). Skill in Solid project management and multi-tasking abilities. Event planning, coordination, and facilitation of virtual and in-person activities. Interviewing, assessment, and negotiation. Verbal and written communication skills. Creative thinking and writing proficiency. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Interpersonal skills and serving as a brand representative for the firm. Ability to Travel up to 50% during campus recruiting season (September through November and February through April). Take initiative and act proactively, follow up and follow through on all areas of responsibility, respond quickly to internal client requests and suggestions, anticipate internal and external client needs and plan accordingly, and have the ability to multitask. Prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion. Take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships. Builds and maintains a vast network of professional relationships over a long period of time. Interact with individuals and establish relationships at all levels of the organization. Licenses/Certifications None Required.
