Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and be able to handle a variety of tasks related to employee records, recruitment, and compliance. This position reports directly to the Human Resource Supervisor.
Job Classification:
Full-time, hourly non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Responsibilities:
Experience working with CDL and Non-CDL drivers preferred Maintain employee/driver DOT compliance files and work with employers to obtain DOT records Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing Assist with onboarding new hires Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality Assist with Office Administration tasks Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a human resources generalist role Experience with
DOT & FMSCA
records and/or knowledge of DOT compliance regulations preferred Experience working with CDL and non cdl Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Ability to work to create a positive work environment
