EXPERIENCED TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

As part of the corporate Centers of Excellence (CoE) team, the Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and refining training programs that support organizational goals and employee growth. This role requires a dynamic trainer with strong facilitation skills, the ability to engage diverse audiences, and expertise in instructional design and learning methodologies. The Learning & Development Specialist must be able to assess training needs, develop content suited for various learning styles, and implement scalable learning solutions across the organization. This position requires close collaboration with other CoEs, HR Business Partners, and operational leaders to ensure training initiatives align with company objectives and drive performance improvement. The Learning & Development Specialist is expected to maintain a library of adaptable training modules, stay current on learning and development best practices, and measure the effectiveness of training programs. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, as this role will be responsible for developing clear, engaging learning materials and delivering presentations to employees at all levels. This is an on-site position based at our Mulberry corporate office and requires daily in-person attendance. Relocation assistance is not available. Proven ability to deliver compelling, high-energy training sessions for diverse audiences. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging learning materials. Expertise in learning methodologies, instructional design, and training technologies (LMS platforms, e-learning tools, etc.). Ability to adapt training materials for different learning styles and workforce demographics. Strong collaboration skills with an ability to integrate learning initiatives within a CoE framework. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously. HRCI or SHRM Certification. Prior Manufacturing HR experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Training Design & Delivery Develop and deliver engaging training programs that support organizational objectives, ensuring content is accessible to various learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.). Facilitate dynamic, high-energy training sessions—both in-person and virtual—tailored for diverse employee groups, from frontline workers to leadership teams. Maintain a toolkit of adaptable training modules that can be customized based on department needs, job functions, and skill levels. Continuously evaluate and update training content to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with industry best practices. Learning Strategy & Innovation Utilize adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern learning technologies to create impactful training experiences. Leverage a variety of training methods, including e-learning, microlearning, hands-on workshops, coaching, and blended learning approaches. Assess learning gaps and recommend solutions that drive knowledge retention and application in the workplace. Stay ahead of learning and development trends, incorporating innovative techniques to enhance employee engagement and skill-building. Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (CoE) Work closely with other CoEs (Talent Acquisition, HR Generalist, Benefits, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, etc.) to ensure training initiatives support company-wide strategies. Partner with HR leaders and business units to understand workforce challenges and deliver training solutions that drive performance and engagement. Contribute to enterprise-wide leadership development, upskilling programs, and career growth initiatives. Performance Measurement & Reporting Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance analytics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to continuously improve learning programs. Support compliance training and certification programs as needed.
