About the Role We’re looking for an HR Generalist to be the go-to HR expert in our high-performance, boots-on-the-ground environment. This isn’t your typical corporate HR gig—we need someone who can handle the pace and nuance of our training atmosphere with confidence, clarity, and care. You’ll wear many hats: problem-solver, compliance guru, culture-builder, and trusted advisor. While you’ll collaborate closely with our HR & Operations Manager, this is a hands-on, standalone role where you’ll take ownership of all things HR and help shape a workplace where people can thrive—even when the pressure’s on. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality chops who knows how to read a room, de-escalate a tough situation, and still get the paperwork done. What You’ll Be Doing Run the full HR show—from hiring and onboarding to performance reviews and offboarding. Own, update, and enforce policies that keep us compliant, consistent, and aligned with employment laws. Navigate complex employee situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion. Spot inefficiencies in our HR systems and processes—and fix them. Work alongside leadership to keep our culture strong, transparent, and mission-driven. Offer smart, practical guidance to managers when HR questions pop up. Maintain organized, confidential employee files and records. Keep tabs on industry trends and legal changes so we’re always a step ahead. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or a related field. 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a solo or lead role. A background in hospitality or similarly fast-moving environments. Strong grasp of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience handling sensitive employee matters with maturity and tact. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle priorities. Strong communication skills—you can talk to anyone and make them feel heard. Proficient in HR tech tools (HRIS, Google Workspace, etc.). Integrates AI tools with the job
