Description Georgia Military College (GMC) is seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team with a primary focus on HRIS administration, reporting, and analytics. This position also plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR office, ensuring smooth coordination of essential administrative tasks. The HR Generalist will serve as GMC’s primary point of contact for Paycom, the institution’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS)—leveraging system functionality, assisting employees with access and troubleshooting, and providing data-driven insights to departments across the institution. Key Responsibilities:
HRIS & Analytics Specialist:
Serve as the college’s lead resource for Paycom system functionality, enhancements, and process optimization.
Monitor and implement system updates to support institutional workflows and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain reports and data insights to support leadership and departmental needs.
Facilitate HR system processes such as contract generation, checklists, and electronic document workflows.
Provide user support for employees, including password resets, system troubleshooting, and navigation assistance.
Maintain data accuracy through regular system audits.
Administrative Support:
Complete verifications of employment (VOEs) and process purchase orders (POs).
Support general office tasks including answering phones, greeting visitors, managing faxes, and placing supply orders.
HR Team Collaboration:

Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills and overall tech-savviness; ability to quickly learn and navigate digital tools and platforms.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team mentality with a positive, can-do attitude and commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom.
Exposure to HR data and reporting; familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
Completion of relevant certifications or self-paced training in Microsoft Excel, Office 365, HR systems, or analytics.
