Role:

The HR Specialist will play a key role in managing the full life cycle of recruitment and onboarding, maintaining HR compliance, and supporting our dynamic administrative and caregiving staff. This role is vital in ensuring our workforce meets the highest standards and aligns with our values of compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring staff Oversee onboarding process: orientation, HR paperwork, IT setup, and compliance Develop and maintain strong pipelines of qualified caregiver and administrative candidates Track new hire documentation, certifications (CPR/First Aid), background checks, and GCHEXS Maintain accurate employee records in ATS, payroll, and scheduling systems Create and update job descriptions and internal HR documentation Conduct exit interviews and identify retention trends Manage weekly HR metrics and reporting Monitor scheduling and payroll data for accuracy and completeness Provide administrative and office support, including maintaining supply inventory Participate in internal meetings and on-call support rotation as needed Ensure adherence to all company policies, compliance guidelines, and deadlines

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience At least 2 years of experience in the Home Care or Home Health industry 1+ year of management or supervisory experience (Preferred) Strong working knowledge of HR software and scheduling platforms Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability Growth-minded, proactive, and solution-oriented
