Position Summary :

We are seeking a Performance & Talent Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The role will play a key role in optimizing team effectiveness and developing high-performing talent across the organization. This role will design and implement talent and performance management strategies, monitor employee performance metrics, and partner with leaders to build a culture of high performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and Support Strategy for Performance Management Processes and Systems Develop and Implement Performance Management Systems Design, develop, and implement comprehensive performance management processes and systems that align with the company’s goals and culture. This should include the oversight and alignment of: Performance expectations Core skills documents Performance ratings Performance review process Promotion process Talent review process Merit / bonus process Company Consistency and Calibration Assist project and department leaders in creating tools and systems that align with the company performance processes and help them to calibrate their performance evaluations consistently across the company. Develop and share best practices. Track and measure their progress, providing feedback for continuous improvement. Performance Culture Create tools, training, and best practices to support a culture of ongoing, high-quality feedback, high performance, and engagement based on growth mindset. Regular Manager Check-ins Establish a cycle of continuous feedback by ensuring managers have regular one-on-one conversations with employees to provide clear expectations and discuss performance, goals, and development opportunities. Training and Coaching Support managers and leaders in providing quality feedback and coaching for performance. Provide tools, training, and coaching to managers to effectively assess and develop team members. Monitor and Evaluate Performance Regularly monitor and evaluate employee performance, ensuring that it meets the company’s standards and expectations. Create processes to identify and address performance issues proactively. Use of Technology Identify and implement technology and software tools to streamline and enhance performance management processes. Change Management Lead change management initiatives related to performance management, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes. Collaborate and Coordinate Talent Development Strategies Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate and serve as a trusted advisor with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and integration of performance management best practices and strategies. Training & Development Programs Use data analysis to identify company training and development needs; support L&D team in developing programs to address skill gaps, promote career development, and enhance team performance. Integration Work with the Integration team to develop strong feedback processes for new associates and associates transitioning to new roles, including 30/60/90-day check ins. Ensure managers have the tools and training to align on expectations, assess performance, and provide feedback and coaching. Track and measure results to ensure a consistent and engaging experience for our associates. Talent Development Strategy Design and implement talent management frameworks to identify, retain, and develop high-potential employees. Support Data-Driven Decision Making Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze performance data and generate detailed reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Use performance and talent data to identify trends and recommend actions that improve team effectiveness and operational outcomes. KPI Development & Monitoring Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for individuals and teams to ensure alignment with business goals and project objectives.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent and performance management role. Proven experience in developing talent strategies and managing performance review cycles.

Skills:

In-depth understanding of and experience with performance management principles and best practices. Ability to design and implement effective performance management processes and systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Experience with data analytics is beneficial. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Strong project management and organizational skills. Experience with performance management software and tools is ideal.
