Full Job Description Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with frontline management. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to organizational development, employee relations, weekly payroll, open enrollment, employee medical leaves, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, training and development, staffing, , data entry, operational reports, personnel files, and HRIS applications. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring of qualified job applicants for vacant positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings. Manage co-employment relationships with temporary agencies, including verifying positions, shifts, pay rates, and disciplinary issues. Administer background checks and employee eligibility verifications, and onboarding of temporary associates, and the conversion process. Conduct new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring and escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff, including the legal team. Support University relationships and recruiting efforts; attends job fairs and enhances company branding initiatives on partnering campuses. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Support and coordinate internal communications as they relate to Human Resources. Create standard operating procedures, or other tools, materials, and procedures to assist with execution and implementation; examples include project plans, quick reference guides, assessments, surveys, and communications. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate. Must have demonstrated the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS. Strong problem identification and resolution skills. Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures. Possess a solid understanding of the full HR cycle: performance management, consulting and mentoring, talent management, development, reward and retention, employee relations, and employee engagement. Inherent customer service mentality.

Education, Experience, and Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of work experience in the Human Resources field, preferably in a warehouse environment. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, flexibility is required as occasional second or third shift coverage may be necessary based on business needs.
