The HR Technology Specialist role is primarily responsible for supporting Carter’s Time & Labor Management systems, auditing employee level data within Workday to ensure accurate and complete employee records and managing the unemployment claims process in conjunction with a third-party administrator. This role reports into the Sr. Manager – HR Technology and Compliance and is based in our Buckhead office (4 days a week onsite). 60%: Time & Labor Management Analyze and resolve system issues and support tickets; assist with all release testing, develop, and conduct test cases, develop, and communicate training materials, and participate in release training as required. Complete all system configurations to ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local laws while ensuring adherence to Carter’s policies. Monitor daily system integrations between HR and Time & Labor systems; research and resolve data integrity issues. 20%: Workday Compliance Perform regularly scheduled Workday audits to ensure accuracy of employee level Workday data; communicate and partner with appropriate HR teams to correct any issues. Use insights gained from the audits to identify areas where process improvements can be made to prevent similar issues in the future. Create and maintain all positions within Workday as required for all offices. Assist with all Workday data corrections and support Workday hyper-care. 20%: Unemployment Claims Management Manage the unemployment process to minimize cost and risk to the company by functioning as the main point of contact between Carter’s and Equifax Unemployment Cost Management team. This involves facilitating communication, scheduling meetings, and ensuring that information flows smoothly between both parties. Ensure that all responses to unemployment claims are accurate, compliant with relevant laws and regulations and submitted timely. This includes gathering necessary documentation, verifying information, and preparing accurate and thorough responses.

Microsoft Excel savvy:
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using Microsoft excel to analyze large data sets.
Preferred skills and experience:
Time & Labor System Configuration:
Proficient in configuring Time & Labor Management systems.
HR Experience:
1+ years of HR experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
Effective Task Management:
Proven capability to prioritize workload, deliver timely follow-up, and resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Customer Excellence:
Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate across functions and provide exceptional customer service.
