Junior HRIS Specialist
Atlanta, GA Description We are looking for a motivated Junior HRIS Specialist on a contract basis to help us optimize our HR systems and data processes.
Job Summary:
As a Junior HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Specialist, you will support the daily administration and maintenance of our HRIS platform(s), ensuring accurate data entry, assisting in system upgrades, and supporting HR initiatives through data analysis and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for HR technology and a desire to grow within the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system with a high degree of accuracy. Support HR and IT teams during system implementations, updates, and testing. Generate standard and ad hoc reports for HR leadership and other departments. Provide technical support and training to end-users on HRIS functionality. Troubleshoot system issues and escalate as needed to vendors or internal IT. Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and data integrity checks. Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and recruiting teams to ensure seamless HR operations.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in HR or data administration (internships and co-op experience welcome). Familiarity with common HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP, Oracle, UKG) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Excellent Excel and data analysis skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
