Full Job Description What You’ll Do:
Compensation Leadership o Lead the design and implementation of salary structures with a sharp focus on internal equity and FLSA compliance, ensuring roles are accurately classified and compensation practices align with federal regulations. o Serve as the primary subject matter expert for compensation education, equipping leaders to navigate pay conversations confidently and compliantly by deepening their understanding of equity, structure, and FLSA requirements. o Analyze trends and outcomes related to merit increases, incentive payouts, and job structure to inform compensation planning, ensure fairness, and identify opportunities for adjustment. o Co-lead annual compensation budgeting, bonus, and incentive planning; compile and validate related data and submit to the Benefits and Payroll Specialist for accurate processing. o Manage incentive and bonus payouts in collaboration with the Talent Management Specialist. Employee Relations & Performance Management o Support employee relations for branch and contact center teams by reviewing manager-led disciplinary actions and investigations for consistency and compliance; escalate probation and termination recommendations to the HR Manager for final review and decision-making. o Provide proactive coaching to leaders on corrective actions, documentation practices, and interpretation of HR policies to support fair and compliant outcomes. o Partner with the Talent Management Specialist to coordinate and track performance reviews, ensuring alignment with documentation standards, compensation decisions, and organizational timelines. o Manage communication of performance review deadlines, bonus cycles, and follow-up actions to ensure timely, complete, and policy-aligned execution. o Serve as a backup to the Talent Management Specialist as needed. Compliance & Auditing o Support the Talent Management Specialist in leading joint audits of performance and compensation files to verify accuracy, ensure policy and guideline compliance, and identify trends or discrepancies. o Ensure data integrity across merit increases, incentive payouts, and job classification decisions, aligning with established compensation and performance frameworks. o Collaborate to uphold documentation standards and audit readiness through consistent recordkeeping and process alignment.
- Systems & Process Improvement o Support HRIS workflows, ensure data integrity, and upload relevant employee documentation to maintain complete and compliant records.
o Monitor system release notes, test updates, and assist with implementing changes related to compensation and performance management. o Recommend improvements to documentation practices, process alignment, and HR system workflows. o Maintain manager-facing tools and HR resources such as the Employee Handbook, Workforce Guide, Leader Connect site to ensure accessibility and accuracy. Other Duties o Manage and complete assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner. o Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

What You Need To Succeed :
Education & Experience Required:
o BS/BA college degree in Human Resources or Business-related discipline. If no degree, 5 years relevant work experience o 3-5 years’ HR experience, including direct work in compensation administration and employee relations support.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
o Strong knowledge of compensation regulations and employment laws, including FLSA, EEO, and wage and hour guidelines o Ability to interpret and apply HR policies, compensation guidelines, and employment law in practical, real-world scenarios o High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with HRIS and compensation systems (UKG and Compease preferred) o Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking; able to identify trends, risks, and opportunities from complex data sets o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to HR partners and leadership o Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment o Collaborative mindset with a service-oriented approach and strong relationship-building skills across departments
