Class Title
The Senior Human Resources Analyst will report to the Director of Personnel/Human Resources or assigned staff.
May supervise a small group of Human Resources staff. Serves internal and external customer with quality service. Duties
Responsibilities include collecting, imputing and maintaining, extensive human resources data.
Runs monthly reports from human resources information system. Assist with monitoring and maintaining applications and applicant tracking system. Communicates and coordinates extensively with timekeepers and field staff. Assists with updating weekly job listing. May assist with human resources policies and transactions, including classification, pay, recruiting, performance rating, and unemployment insurance. Will interpret human resources procedures to city officials to employees and applicants. May assist in making recommendations concerning staffing, training, salary increases, employment grievances and other matters. Researches, develops and administers examinations. Interprets and May serve as Staff Assistant to the Human Resources Director.
Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent years of experience.
Must have eight (8) years or more of professional experience in human resources administration or related experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Tasks are performed in a sedentary position at workstation with occasional walking required. The employee must exert light physical effort, occasionally involving lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects and materials (mostly file boxes) of up to thirty-five pounds.
Requires visual perception and ability to communicate orally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Tasks are regularly performed in an office environment where the noise level is moderately quiet.
Limited exposure to extreme weather conditions and limited risk of injury.
May have normal exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise.
May work in direct contact with the public and other personnel.
