Westaff is hiring for a Human Resource Analyst in Lafayette, La.
•This is a temporary position lasting 680 hours•

Pay:

$13.57

Hours:

Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5:00pm
Fri 7:30am-12:30pm

Qualifications:

Familiarity with background checks, tax documents, and retirement system enrollments
Proficiency in data entry, administrative systems, and payroll processing
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Responsibilities:

Process position action forms & enter data into HRIS & other relevant systems to determine employee status
Verify employment information, status & classify positions
Send payroll packets, schedule I-9 documentation, manage tax treaty forms, submit background checks
Enter or update position details; coordinate withptroller if position creation is needed
Verify & process payroll vouchers & timesheets
Ensure social security cards are on file & manage international documentation & tax treaties
Handle

TRSL/LASERS

enrollment & maintain accurate records
Process PAFs & background checks, & coordinate with Student Financial Aid for employment paperwork
