Role:
We’re hiring an HR Generalist to join a growing food manufacturing company in Newburyport, MA. This role is on-site and works closely with plant leadership and production teams. The ideal candidate will bring 4-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR guidance to plant leadership on workforce strategies and employee relations Handle employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance issues Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly roles Serve as a point of contact for all HR-related inquiries Maintain employee records and compliance documentation Support open enrollment and assist with benefits-related questions on-site Take on additional HR projects as needed
Requirements:
Experience:
4-5 years in
HR, Recruiting, or Employee Relations Industry Background:
Manufacturing required; food manufacturing strongly preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Software:
Microsoft Office, HRIS (UKG preferred), ATS experience
Preferred Qualifications:
