Employment Specialist Description MHA is seeking a compassionate,detail-oriented HR professional to support internal investigations andemployee relations in a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofitenvironment. Reporting directly to our VP and Director of HR, this roleplays a key part in promoting fairness, confidentiality, and adherenceto policy through active involvement in internal employeeinvestigations. In addition, the role contributes to broader employeerelations efforts and helps foster a respectful, values-driven workplaceculture. Schedule:

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Key Responsibilities Conduct and assist with internalinvestigations related to employee concerns, misconduct, harassment, orpolicy violations Conduct and document interviews, gather relevantevidence, and help ensure timely, impartial resolution of cases Maintainstrict confidentiality and adhere to all organizational policies andlegal compliance standards Collaborate with HR leadership to addressemployee relations matters and support a positive workplace environmentContribute to the development and refinement of HR policies andprocedures Support and help deliver trainings on workplace behavior,ethics, and compliance Assist with additional HR projects as assigned,such as audits or case tracking Requirements Minimum 2 years ofexperience in HR, with exposure to employee relations, investigations,or compliance Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especiallyin navigating sensitive conversations Understanding of employment law,HR best practices, and documentation standards Ability to handleconfidential information with discretion and professionalism Experiencein the nonprofit or human services sector is a plus Benefits Thisposition offers $22.00 per hour with the following benefits: HealthCare Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (403B, IRA) LifeInsurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick &Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Long TermDisability
