Benefits & HRIS Manager Overview:

The Benefits & HRIS Analyst supports the day-to-day administration of HRIS systems and employee benefits programs. The Analyst maintains data accuracy, performs audits and reconciliations, and supports compliance and reporting. This role works across multiple systems including PeopleSoft, Red Rover, Droplet, TeachPoint, and PowerSchool’s TalentEd Applicant Tracking System and Records. The Analyst is also responsible for supporting tuition reimbursement, Master’s Plus credits, and service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter and maintain employee data in PeopleSoft and related HRIS platforms. Support benefits enrollment, eligibility tracking, and life event processing. Run reports and conduct data audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Assist with Open Enrollment system setup and employee communication. Serve as a back up to tuition reimbursement requests and verifying supporting documents. Manage tracking and approval workflows for Master’s Plus credit (lane changes). Coordinate with HRIS Coordinator/Clerical Specialist to ensure service agreement data is accurately reflected in the portal. Troubleshoot system issues and serve as a liaison to Payroll, IT, and City Hall’s Office of Human Resources on data-related matters. Maintain familiarity with Red Rover, Droplet, TeachPoint, and TalentEd to ensure system support. Provide data analysis to support benefits trends, compliance efforts, and equity reviews. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in HR, Business, or Data Analytics preferred. 2-4 years of experience in HRIS and/or benefits administration. Advanced Excel skills and experience with data reporting tools. Proficiency with PeopleSoft, Red Rover, Droplet, TeachPoint, and TalentEd preferred. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities. Ability to handle confidential information and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Terms of Employment:

This is a full-time exempt position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. As an exempt employee, this position is not eligible for overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
