Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, administering assessments, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference and background checks. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding, including benefits explanation and company policy review. Administer weekly payroll processes, adjustments, and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies. Maintain benefit-related records and perform regular reconciliations (medical, dental, STD/LTD). Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations; assist with claims resolution and benefits documentation. Support compensation and benefit documentation, and ensure accurate enrollment across all systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for new hire and employee HR-related inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, including personnel, I-9, and E-Verify documentation. Perform regular audits to ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant. Manage employee leaves of absence, unemployment claims, and workers’ compensation documentation. Facilitate performance review processes and assist with termination paperwork, including exit interviews and COBRA notifications. Process 401(k) enrollments and terminations for new and exiting employees. Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned to support the HR department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, including recruiting responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Checkwriters Payroll is a plus. Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, payroll processing, and HR best practices. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
