Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring an HR Generalist in Chelmsford,MA!The Human Resources Generalist serves as a key liaison, providingcomprehensive HR support while promoting the companys Core Values. Thisrole delivers broad workforce support across multiple HR functions, withkey responsibilities including, but not limited to, recruitment andselection, onboarding and employee engagement, training development,timesheet administration, performance management, employee relations,and general HR administrative support at our Chelmsford facility.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage hourly recruiting and onboarding activities, including staffing coordination, interviews, job postings, and new hire orientation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and provide day-to-day HR support, escalating issues to HRM when necessary
  • Oversee timekeeping and payroll processes, including timesheet submission, discrepancy resolution, and agency/vendor coordination
  • Coordinate training, development, and performance programs, including identifying needs, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation
  • Support employee engagement and communication efforts, leading site-wide activities and serving as liaison for HR programs and special projects
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Desired Background/Skills:
  • BS Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, preferred
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish or Khmer and English
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of varied aspects of Human Resources and relevant employment regulations (including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO and Affirmative Action
  • Strong work ethic, sound judgment, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized
  • Purpose-driven leader who inspires others, takes accountability, and exercises sound judgment
  • Strong communicator who builds relationships, engages teams, and supports personal and organizational development
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement, customer focus, and the ability to drive inclusion and make tough decisions
  • Brings functional expertise, analytical strength, and HR-business acumen; flexible with scheduling and shift support
  • Maintains confidentiality, manages multiple priorities, and influences at all levels with professionalism and credibility
