SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

: The S taffing Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, a leader who works hand in hand with the DON in staffing appropriately, helping maintain direction and ease in scheduling and staffing. Staffing Coordinator :

Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars. Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units. Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning the staff/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems. Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms. Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets/time schedules are up to date.
