Salary Range:

This compensation range considers a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is not adjusted for geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. JOB SUMMARY

The Colleague Resource Center Generalist will support the People Team’s Colleague Resource Center by supporting One Call colleagues and people leaders when they have questions or concerns. The Generalist will be knowledgeable in all areas of Human Resources and all company policies, procedures, and practices. The Generalist will undertake a wide range of Human Resources administrative tasks to ensure the People Team’s operations run smoothly, collaborate with internal and external departments, effectively deliver maximum value to the organization, and proactively partner with business partners & leaders to advance organizational priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Make it Happen (50%) Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute People Team programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Review corrective action forms and provide coaching to leadership on related processes and procedures. Conducts preliminary investigations related to colleague complaints and escalates when appropriate. Conduct audits on colleague data to support People Team programs and initiatives. Oversees the unemployment process, including ensuring appropriate unemployment forms are provided upon separation as required and serving on behalf of the organization at unemployment hearings. Audit various reports to analyze trends and leverage data to provide recommendations. Conducts meetings with client group leaders to foster cultural transformation and leadership accountability through active listening, planning, and follow-through. Delight Stakeholders (25%) Counsel and assist colleagues, people leaders, and People Team Business Partners with day-to-day human resource needs, including interpretation and application of company and departmental policies and programs. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to promote continual improvement through enhanced departmental efficiency and end-user experience. Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders by demonstrating subject matter expertise, compassion, clear communication, and timely support. Provide swift, comprehensive, and accurate information in response to inquiries and escalate complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate leaders. Know the Business (25%) Possess working knowledge of One Call People Team policies and programs, including benefits plans, leaves of absence, Human Capital Management systems, and other People Team centers of excellence processes and procedures. Maintain knowledge of current and developing federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance and provide recommendations. Assist with the development and implementation of People Team policies, FAQs, and other resources. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 3-5 years of experience in human resources or related role, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Human Resource certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is a hybrid role – work will be required to be done from the corporate office, and from the colleague’s home as directed by management.

Corporate Work Environment Demands:

The corporate office work environment involves working in a communal space under fluorescent lighting. Must be able to frequently move about within the office to access filing cabinets, workstations, supplies, and equipment. Must be able to occasionally transport materials weighing up to 20 pounds between workstations.

Home Office Demands:

Work-from-home requirements include the colleague’s ability to set up computer equipment within their home office. Within the home environment, the job is primarily sedentary. At all work locations, the colleague must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, operate a computer and other office equipment, assess information and files stored electronically, converse with customers, and exchange accurate information. The colleague must be ableto discern text displayed on a monitor, input data into specific fields using a keyboard, andadjustfocus to distances of up to three feet. The colleague must have the ability to learn new tasks, follow established processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, communicate professionally with colleagues and customers, and complete tasks in situations that require speed or productivity. The colleague must be able to manage moderate to significant mental stress because of, but not limited to, a dynamic and heavy workload. Colleague Resource Center Generalist Senior The CRC Generalist Senior will perform all duties above and: Handle complex or escalated colleague relations issues and perform other advanced colleague relations functions as needed. Act as subject matter expert on One Call policies; create and update HR policies and procedures. Demonstrate applied knowledge of employment law topics (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, NLRA, etc.) to ensure Company compliance. Possess up-to-date knowledge of organizational structures and product lines within the Company. Evaluate complex HR issues and develop innovative solutions by applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance organizational effectiveness. Develop, implement, and lead strategic HR projects, programs, and tasks that align with organizational goals. Support Business Partners and other COE leaders with strategic People Team initiatives, including but not limited to performance management, change management, workforce planning, colleague learning and development, diversity, compliance, and exit action items. Generate data-driven solutions through analysis of survey data and report audits. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with business partners and leaders to promote a Company culture that supports One Call values. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations across all functions and People team COEs. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to more junior team members. Regularly participate in HR development courses to strengthen subject matter expertise. Be proficient in HR functions related to the Generalist I job duties.
