Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Their duties include comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. 
  • Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing developmental training programs
  • Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation
  • Administer the request and fulfillment of temporary employment orders
  • Back up for company sponsored events, including the event flow
  • Maintain employee attendance tracking and oversee overtime worked for hourly employees
  • Work under general supervision
  • Collaborating with outside vendors on company events, communicate with upper management for approvals
  • Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree (B. A.), or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization and external contacts.

  • Comprehensive Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
  • Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Abilities
  • : •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized solutions. Able to assist with troubleshooting problem areas and to recognize and advise others of needed actions.
