Job Description
The Recruitment & Salary Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and salary administration activities for entry level/high recruit positions, including Health Care Technician I, Housekeeper, Food Services Assistant, LPNs, and RNs to name a few.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
reviewing, editing and posting job vacancies via NeoGov, screening and qualifying applicants, making recommendations for starting salaries and other salary administration actions, preparing hiring packets, attending recruitment events, collecting and analyzing data for the HR Manager and Classification and Compensation Analyst as well as the processing of personnel actions in lieu of the Processing Assistant. This position works independently regarding the compliance of the hiring procedures set by DHHS/HR, and relays any problems to the Classification and Compensation Analyst and/or HR Manager. This position reports to the Classification and Compensation Analyst (Agency HR Consultant II). Salary Grade NC07; Recruitment Range $35,984.00

Management Preferences:
Experience with developing job postings and/or screening applications to determine highly qualified candidates Experience processing personnel actions. Demonstrated knowledge of and skill using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint to complete letters, reports and presentations. Experience running reports, analyzing data and preparing requests and reports in a user-friendly format. Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting personnel and departmental guidelines. Experience communicating with all levels of the organization effectively on a one-to-one or group basis. Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Experience with decision-making and communicating decisions.
