POSITION SUMMARY

: The HR Generalist is a representative of the HR department and works to help facilitate the daily HR duties, working with both current team members and new team members. These duties may include administrative duties and processes in the HRIS. The HR Generalist plays an active role in formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices. The HR Generalists also assists with employee relations, recruitment, including interviewing, onboarding, and other tasks as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Assists recruitment with resume reviews and interviews as requested. Assist in the on boarding process of candidates, maintaining solid candidate contact from offer acceptance to start date. Orders and coordinates background checks and drug screenings. Processes and uploads all New Hire Paperwork Coordinates all new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy. Enters data into the appropriate systems for processing. Coordinates E-Verify and I-9 compliance. Assists in the New Hire Orientation Presentations Coordinates and ensures new hires have all program access (e.g., ADP, EPIC, etc.) required prior to their start date. Updates employee records in all systems to include compensation, performance, and personal updates such as address changes on an ongoing basis for all team members. Maintains the general HR Email box. Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests as appropriate Sends any escalations to the appropriate person Maintains Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports. Assists with collection and entry of all current licenses and certifications Assist with payroll administrative tasks Communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations. Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Assist with terminations Helps to maintains the termination email box Assists with exit surveys as needed Represents the company for any unemployment claims. Maintains and processes Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner. Assists with Employee Relations cases. Assists with employee recognition programs. Any additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education (Preferred): Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field Human Resources Certification, a plus (SHRM-CP or PHR)

Experience:

Over five years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare. Experience with ADP Workforce Now, preferred.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is mainly in office. While performing the essential functions of the job the employee may come into contact with a wide variety of circumstances. The team member may be exposed to unpleasant situations including accidents, injuries, illnesses, employee problems and varying or unpredictable situations. This position is on-site in the corporate office, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:30pm)
