Main Purpose:
- We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at Lander Tubular Products in Franklin, NC.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various human resources functions and be passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
To be responsible for developing and implementing training strategies to improve individual and business performance. Processing payroll and ensuring procedures are compliant and up to date. Oversee and support the absenteeism and disciplinary process. Support in providing advice and guidance on a range of personnel issues, within their capability. Support the HandS and Environmental aspects of the Management System.

HR ACTIVITIES
- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels with a strong customer service focus
- Serves as a resource for all employees at the site and acts as an example for others while demonstrating the core values of Lander
- A focal point for HR Administrative tasks such as headcount reporting, time and attendance audits, payroll processing and employee onboarding
- Partner with Group HR Manager to drive projects and initiatives
- Provides guidance and support for a full suite of HR functions, including talent management, performance management, organizational change, policy and process implementation, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and facilitating team performance
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local law in all matters related to labor and employment
- Prepares and processes personnel action forms and requests
- Communicates and interprets company policy to employees and site leadership
- Maintains all personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
- Helps managers to determine appropriate staffing levels, manage open positions, track headcount, and lead hiring activities
- Provides coaching, advice, council, and support for leadership, management, employees, and peers
- Acts as an impartial advocate to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and equitably
- Conducts investigations, counsels employees, and ensures consistent application of progressive disciplinary action
- Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
- Tracks performance indicators and provides reports to aid managers in making key decisions
- Looks for ways to improve HR programs and processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

HSE SYSTEMS
- Preparing annual HSE auditing schedules and conducting audits
- Carry out inspections and audits of the site and produce written reports capturing the findings
- Attend the HSE meeting at the site, take notes and follow up on the actions to achieve the aims
- Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, maintaining the
ISO14001
certification

Education:
- Preferably
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- 2-4 years professional work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- However, the lower qualifications and work experience will be acceptable as well.

Experience/Skills :
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Word. Experience using HRIS tools. Experience inJob Description
