Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting all the daily functions of the Human Resources department with specific focus on Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Leave Management, Training, and supporting HR policies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Manages the Talent Acquisition process for all Domestic hiring to include posting jobs, screening candidates, completing background checks, hiring and onboarding employees Responsible for Employee Leave Management Manages the Unemployment claims process Processes HR-related invoices for payment Organizes and attends Career Fairs Participates in process improvement for HR-related tools, systems, and practices Serves as Safety Coordinator to departmental leadership Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of two years of human resource management experience preferred SHRM or HR related certification preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn and utilize the organization’s HRIS system
